11 Must-Do's for Getting Prospects to Your Booth at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006

  1. Post the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006 show logo (ZIP) on your homepage, linked to the IAAPA Attractions Expo website http://iaapaatlanta.expoplanner.com/. Please be sure to follow the logo usage guidelines (PDF).
  2. Make sure your field sales reps have some IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006 promotional materials on hand. They can use them to invite prospects and customers to come see you at your booth at the greatest attractions industry event on earth. These can be requested to marketing@iaapa.org.
  3. Put "See you at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005, Booth # (insert your number here)," and the link to the IAAPA Attractions Expo site in the e-mail signature files of all employees.
  4. Send IAAPA a list of customers you want to see at your booth. If they havens't registered yet, we will send them more information. Send your list to marketing@iaapa.org.
  5. Make sure your booth number and the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006 logo (ZIP), dates and location appear on all the ads you run until November.
  6. When callers are put on hold, make sure they listen to your message about the products and services you will showcase at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005. Include a message such as, "If you haven't already registered, ask the person you are calling about attending as our guest."
  7. Send an e-mail message to all your current customers and clients reminding them of your booth number, your products and services, and the benefits of coming to see you at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006. If you can't invite them to come as your guest, refer them to www.iaapaexpo.com.
  8. Make sure all your employees know that your company will be exhibiting at the most important trade event of the year, IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006. Everyone should be able to talk about your participation, not just staff involved in planning or attending the event.
  9. If you are at any other industry functions or trade shows between now and IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006, make sure you talk up your participation. Know the dates, the city (Atlanta, November 15-18), your booth number, and what products or services you will be showcasing.
  10. Pick some of your most important current and prospective customers. Have the president of your company write a personal letter to the president of their company. Talk about IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006 as an exciting opportunity for your company to promote specific products and services. Offer to send each a VIP pass.
  11. If your products are displayed at any of the Atlanta-area attractions, consider inviting your clients after show hours to visit them. Or, you can encourage them to join any of the Educational Tours that IAAPA Attractions Expo has organized to Six Flags Over Georgia, Medieval Times, Maxx Fun, and the Georgia Aquarium.
